Fashion has always been an important part of life and while most people follow the latest trends that have emerged throughout history, some have stood out as true icons. Some of the world’s most memorable style icons have gained their status because of their unique style or their timeless elegance. We at Pantera Bianca are nostalgic of those days, we put all of our passion to recreate the most iconic sweaters of all time. 

Pantera Bianca is about honouring these great people. If they were alive today, they would wear Pantera Bianca.  

 

James Dean

Rebel without a cause, James Dean, died at a young age but his short life didn’t go unnoticed as he will always remain an iconic figure for his style, good looks and rebellious nature. James Dean melted the hearts of many women with his cool and casual style that oozed confidence and a devil may care attitude.

Italian icon, Marcello Mastroianni, was dubbed style icon for his ability to wear pure style effortlessly. His clothing was never ostentatious, and he dressed to perfection. His leading man swagger along with his classic style had him looking dapper at all times. When in doubt, dress like Marcello.

Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn is considered to be one of the most influential fashion icons ever because of her sophisticated style. Hepburn embodied pure class in both her look and demeanour which was complimented by her kind manner. Not only was she one of the most beautiful actresses of all time, the style icon was also a human rights activist and a muse to many top fashion designers.

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis

A look back at the original White House style icon. Jacqueline Kennedy, former First Lady, made her chic style seem effortless and showcased an incredible ability to imitate art through her clothing choices which largely included high end items from top designer Coco Chanel. Though her style changed throughout the years, her icon status only flourished, "influencing generations of women with her keen eye for what American royalty looks like".

Steve McQueen

American actor Steve McQueen needs little introduction and still remains the most important figure when it comes to talking style. He was “The King of Cool”, a rockstar on the screen and a real bad boy from the streets. He had a great passion for motorcycles and racing cars and was a masculine rebel that influenced men to imitate his style through fashion. He was also a true inspiration to many top designers. Steve McQueen made everything he wore look good - whether it was a Dolcevita, a lounge shirt or a tweed blazer. McQueen epitomised style, he was known for sticking to clean lines, he maintained a masculine and rugged look with very linear apparel. 

Sophia Loren

Italian actress, Sophia Loren, will always be one of the most beautiful women to ever grace the big screen. Her incredible beauty and figure led her to be labelled one of the most beautiful sex goddesses ever and her classy, yet demure timeless Italian style ensured she remain a true fashion icon.

Gianni Agnelli

Its certain that Italy has produced some of the best timeless style icons of all time and Gianni Agnelli is the epitome of great Italian business man, a man who unified a strong charisma with a lot of charm. He was known as the Rake of the Riviera and always wore his sartorial signature look with style.

Undoubtedly one of the most iconic women during the 50's, 60's, St Tropez without Brigitte Bardot wouldn't be what it is today. She had a unique style which showcased her demure femininity and landed her the title of one of the worlds most iconic fashionistas. Brigitte Bardot was a muse for many top designers including Dior, Pierre Cardin and Balmain. The wide headband and off the shoulder top are just two timeless trends that began with Bardot.
